I've spent months trying to get my daughter to mimic the sound a dog makes. After all, isn't that usually one of the first things a baby says? I've also spent her first year of life making sure everything she eats is organic and being sort of a food-nazi (I think most of my family members would agree). Organic this, natural that. Veggie this, fruity that. Fast forward to today when I find my one year old on all fours with her face planted in the dog's food bowl saying "aff, aff" and snacking on Science Diet.
Motherhood, sweet motherhood.
